The
GINGER Plant Medicinal Action
Originating from the word gingivere this shaped horn
root stem (antler like) is primarily harvested in Southern Asia, the Carribean Islands, and India where it is used for spice
and natural healing medicine. Also known in
Sanskrit as Srngaveram plus Hindu Adrak the rhizomes are
cultivated under ground. Main constituents include
monoterpenoid trace elements, with sesquiterpenes and
bisabolene. The GINGER root is used for
digestive aid including anti-inflammatory properties and
nausea reduction benefits.
