Turmeric Botanical
The Kurcum Plant as it's botanically known is
also recognized as avea, kiko or yellow root where it is processed
into a yellow powder or saffron having a bitter essence propagated
perennially and applied in herbal medicine and Asian
medicine. Actions and properties of use
include antioxidant, fumitory, diuretic plus an aromatic
stimulant. Plant chemical constituents are
numerous such as riboflavin, niacin, calcium plus boron.
Worldwide uses are evident in the countries of China,
Malaya and Nepal. The TURMERIC or Olena is
cultivated in Hindustan for essential oil purposes but
also for its culinary herb functions and therapeutic
effects.
